The Rupp Building

The Rupp Building, prominently located at Continental Square in Downtown York, is a distinguished example of the city’s historic architecture. Originally designed in 1890 by renowned architect John A. Dempwolf, the five-story structure underwent a comprehensive renovation supported by Historic Tax Credits.

As developer and general contractor, Royal Square led restoration efforts that preserved the building’s historic masonry and enhanced its façade, while thoughtfully adapting the interior for modern mixed-use functionality—including a café, co-working space, law office, and two floors of executive office suites.
