Bell Family Shelter
Bell Family Shelter's new location at 724 S. George Street can accommodate up to 73 individuals, doubling their previous capacity and ensuring more families have a safe place to stay. Along with living quarters, the facility includes a handicap-accessible elevator, a discovery lounge, reading nook, sensory room and a dedicated space for adults.
We value greatly our partnership with Royal Square Development Co. They have executed several large projects, including transforming a former office building into a seventeen-bed emergency shelter for families. These projects went well and we have been pleased with the results. They assisted us in advocating with local authorities before, during and after the project. Dylan and Damain have always been available to brainstorm ideas and their knowledge of the York community real estate situation is very useful. I have frequently recommended them to other agencies.
